Origin Story

I curate collections to share the stories, treasures, and crafts of the artisans I meet along my travels.

From the remote island of Sumba, to the sweeping valleys of Mongolia, to the vibrant craft districts of Jaipur— most pieces are small-batch and hand-made by artisanal methods that carry the cosmology, memory, and mythos of each culture.

Some pieces are unassuming dusty antiques I find in bygone towns, and other pieces are from modern creatives preserving their heritage craft traditions through new innovative styles. When I’m especially inspired, I work with the creatives directly myself to produce new pieces — offering loans and business guidance to help strengthen their creative independence and reach new markets.

Each piece is collected after many questions, giggles, tea, and wonder and delight exchanged with each artist or shop owner. I hope you see the beauty I see, and feel the love and story of each piece you receive.
